Lindsay and Rod’s summer elopement in Aspen, Colorado was the perfect mix of intimate, scenic, and heartfelt. They tied the knot at the stunning Maroon Bells Amphitheater—one of the most iconic elopement locations in Colorado. With just a few family members present, they said their vows surrounded by wildflowers, alpine air, and the dramatic backdrop of the Maroon Bells peaks.


After the ceremony, we explored the area for portraits—wandering through groves of aspens and soaking in that golden light that only happens in the high country. Elopements at Maroon Bells are always magical, but Lindsay and Rod’s connection and energy made it feel extra special.


Their celebration continued with a relaxed garden reception at the historic Hotel Jerome in downtown Aspen. It was the perfect setting—elegant yet easygoing, with champagne toasts and dinner under the trees. This blend of mountain adventure and timeless style is exactly what I love about photographing elopements in Aspen.
