Anna and Matt’s intimate wedding in Snowmass Village, Colorado was the perfect blend of elevated style and heartfelt simplicity. They chose the stunning Viceroy Snowmass as their venue—an ideal spot for a cozy, elegant celebration in the heart of the Rockies.
For portraits, we took the chairlift to the top of Snowmass Mountain, where wide-open views and the distant Maroon Bells gave us the most breathtaking backdrop. It was just the two of them, surrounded by high alpine air, wind in their hair, and the kind of peace that only comes with being above it all. This mountaintop moment made for one of the most cinematic Snowmass wedding portrait sessions I’ve ever photographed.
Their ceremony unfolded on the Viceroy’s open-air deck, with the surrounding peaks and soft summer skies creating a naturally stunning setting. No elaborate setup needed—just love, emotion, and a view that does the heavy lifting.
As the sun dipped behind the mountains, Anna’s brother’s band played live music into the night, making the reception feel even more personal and memorable. There’s something about live sound carrying through the mountains that adds a little magic to everything.
